Under the theme ‘Maryaz Traditionel’ the members from our tourism club presented a colourful and vibrant Seychellois way of joining the knots, not for a real wedding but to tie a close-knot of partnership with the Story Seychelles Resort at Bel Ombre on the 23rd September this year in relation to the national tourism Club initiative by the Tourism Department.
The Lospitalite, Lafyerte Seselwa national theme is what constituted the programme. The club members were not shy to show our colourful and wonderful wedding tradition with a live band and dancers. All performed our cultural songs and dances, to even moutia. The Story hotel has been working with the school since its adoption this year and the members have participated in a myriad of activities with the hotel. The club has 30 members and is spearheaded by Miss Deidre Rioux.
